1. To encourage the student to maintain discipline 

2. To furnish Nurses in training with advice in their courses of study leading up to professional qualification

3. To encourage leadership ability and help students to gain a wide knowledge of the Nursing profession in its different branches and aspects.

4. To increase the students social contacts and general knowledge in order to help them take their place in the world when they have finished their training

5. To encourage both professional and recreational meetings games and sports.

6. To provide a special section in The Nursing Journal of India for the benefit of students.

7. To encourage students to compete for prizes in the various competitions and also to attend national and regional conferences to be competent nurses in future.

8. Assign responsibilities to all student 

9. To provide all facilities to student related aspects like hostel mess, health etc. 

10. Establish good rapport.
